SME Night with Industry at Colorado State University
Student outreach is an important aspect to maintaining and growing industries, especially in mining. Working with the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration’s Colorado section and Colorado State University, Forte Analytical joined other groups in the industry for a night of laughs, intriguing conversation, and networking. Brittany Garcia, Forte Analytical’s Fort Collins Laboratory Manager, presented to geotechnical students from CSU about gold mining and all the amazing opportunities this industry holds. Forte sees the value in upcoming young professionals and strives to create passion and intrigue for an industry that has a notorious stigma to those unfamiliar with it. Where will we be next?
